Megan Cotrone
Interim School Counselor
mcotrone@manvillesd.org
Hello! I’m Ms. Megan Cotrone, and I’m excited to be joining the Roosevelt Elementary School community as your interim school counselor. I hold a Master of Science in School Counseling and am a certified New Jersey Professional School Counselor. Before coming to Roosevelt, I worked as a teaching assistant and substitute teacher, experiences that strengthened my passion for helping students learn, grow, and feel supported.
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. My goal is to build meaningful relationships with students, partner with families and staff, and help create a positive school environment where every child feels they belong.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, beach days, and finding fun outdoor adventures. I’m looking forward to getting to know the Roosevelt students and families and can’t wait for a wonderful school year!
